Gallup Polling Trend: Obama up by 8-10 points

Gallup Poll Daily tracking shows Barack Obama with a 51% to 42% advantage over Hillary Clinton for nearly a week now.

Individual polls are problematic, but this is showing a beginning of a trend.

Thoughts?

Well, yes, we knew that McCain (none / 0)

should be toast against any competent Dem, what with his age and his 100 years.  Fortunately, our candidate is much more than merely competent.

Also up over McCain 43 to Obama 46.  His widest lead so far.

Bitter voter for change.

Can't deny that this is now a significant TREND, and not some road bump.  Beginning to look like a wrap.  If this trend continues for a full week's cycle, then you know we're in new territory for this campaign.  Go 08AMA!

Slow down there. (none / 0)

Pennsylvania is way more important than any national poll. So is North Carolina. So is Indiana.

Re: Oh for God's sake (2.00 / 1)

Don't get me started. He was the original "BIG GUY", often matched against two at a time. I have a great photo of Haystacks, out at the farm, barefoot with the rope belt, and horseshoe neck chain, and lifting a big ol' haystack over his head. I tried to post, but it looks like no can do.

It'll be a good sell to the superdelegates if it keeps up, anyway.
