More superdelegates endorse, one abandons Clinton, gap still at 24

From Politico Counter.

3 endorsments, 1 switch to uncommitted and one on the fence.

More endorsements came down for both Barack and Hillary today.

Obama:
Utah DNC Wayne Holland

Clinton:
Pennsylvania DNC Sophie Masloff
Ohio DNC Bill Burga

However, Hillary lost one superdelegate who switched to uncommitted.
California DNC Aleita Huguenin

A new superdelegate, California Rep. Jackie Speier who has long supported Clinton, but now refuses to say who she will vote fro at the convention.

All in all, while the gap remains at 24 things are still not looking good for Hillary Clinton.

There are now less uncommitted super delegates.
One super delegate has abandoned her.
And a long time supporter seems to be unsure.

Still no huge super delegate Hillary shift in sight.

No one ever asks why Hillary The Inevitable couldn't close the deal.

You know Barack...he isn't one for the fast kill...he wants to drag it out and try to punish Hillary...that's how he is right?

Boxer declared quite a while ago didn't she? That's not a new endorsement.

Boxer is related to Hillary by family (none / 0)

connections if I recall correctly.   No surprise she endorses Hillary there.

She would still make a good veep choice, even if she endorsed Hillary.

Re: Boxer is related to Hillary by family (2.00 / 1)

She said before the CA primary that she would endorse whoever won in her state - sounds like she's keeping her word.

It was great .

The sun came out today , didn't get a ribbing from my significant other on anything .

So all in all , was a good day.

Really interesting primary race , don't you think.

Yeah, couldn't sleep kept having nightmares where Clinton supporters were beheading Obama supporters and Obama supporters kept throwing Kool Aid at Clinton supporters...Bizarre to say the least.

Re: More superdelegates endorse, one abandons Clin (2.00 / 2)

lol ,

let's hope it doesn't get to that .

Its getting a little too intense on both sides , don't you think.

High percentages saying they won't vote if their candidate isn't nominated.

I hope dems don't throw away this opportunity.

Re: More superdelegates endorse, one abandons Clin (none / 0)

I do know that the this who democratic primary process needs to be revamped.  Starting with caucus states and the whole superdelegate thing. It's scary to know that 800 people have control over about 20% of the total delegates.

Re: More (2.00 / 1)

If superdelegates keep endorsing at this rate (for both Obama and Clinton), there isn't going to be that many uncommitted left by the last contests.  This isn't going to the convention.  We'll know who won by June.
